PUBLIC NOTICE The Commissioners Court of Gonzales County, Texas will meet in a special called session Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Courtroom, Courthouse, 414 St. Joseph Street, Gonzales, Texas to act upon the following agenda: 1. Approve minutes of the August 4, 2014, Commissioner’s Court Meeting. 2. Tax Assessor-Collector’s Monthly Report. 3. Award contract for seal coating project –Pct#2. 4. Discuss 2014 Tax Rates. 5. Propose a 2014 Tax Rate, take vote, & schedule dates for two (2) public hearings. (August 25, 2014 and September 8, 2014 at 9:00 AM in the Commissioner’s Courtroom at 414 St. Joseph St.) 6. Set date, time, and place of meeting to adopt 2014 tax rate. (September 16, 2014 at 9:00 AM in the Commissioner’s Courtroom at 414 St. Joseph St.) 7. Discuss with action and approve design of All Tucked in Cabins phase I infrastructure plan- Pct#4. 8. Discuss with action Termination of Lease Agreement between the County of Gonzales and Guadalupe Valley Communications Systems. 9. Consider and approve budget amendments. 10. Public Comments. 11. Read and Approve bills. 12. Closed Session The Commissioners may go into closed, executive session under authority of the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Section 551.071, allowing a governmental body to conduct private consultation with its attorney when seeking advice about pending or contemplated litigation and/or Section 551.074, allowing a governmental body to consider certain personnel matters in closed session.)
