PapaJim Secola, it warms my heart that you and so many others are interested in bringing back the Singing Christmas Tree. My opinion on this, though I am sure it will not be shared by everyone, is that it should reflect the Christ of Christmas. Thats what made it so special. Anything less, again in my opinion, would not be a true revival of the SCT. Whoever leads this effort must be more concerned with the spiritual impact it would have than simply erecting a structure and singing some holiday songs. I was one of the blessed ones who was part of the Singing Christmas Tree from the start, of course, I was a mere child at the time, LOL. My parents and sister participated for years. Even at 10 years old, I recognized that we were not merely singing Christmas music. We prayed and asked God to draw people to the property and to Him. Im very much in favor of repeating that. People are starving for the love that Christ brings. Count me in! Im an alto.
