Heres what Ive made for you on my leisure time this morning. Take a time to read. If you want me to translate this to vernacular, let me know :D *** TEACHERS AT RISK Have you encountered a run-of-the-mill teacher who’s not doing well in shaping the totality of the learners but crap? I am referring to teachers who don’t have any preference but to enter the class unprepared and reprimand the class the whole period even without a visible rationale of doing the same. In every learning arena, this kind of teacher is visible, and I called them “TEACHERS AT RISK” As a concern teacher, I am calling other teachers’ sympathy to put my points into consideration. I am not pointing any names but I am just trying to figure out what the reality is trying to put across. As a teacher coming from different institutions, I have observed that TEACHERS AT RISK really exist. Usually, they are the teachers who don’t have mastery of the subject matter to be taught, teachers who don’t have a strong foundation of education thus they are lack of knowledge about the subject they are handling, teachers who are lack of confidence because they are not mastered the medium of instruction, and teachers who are applying the what they called “from-book-to-notebook-to-sook” where teachers always let the students copy something on the board the whole semester and not even bothered to discuss it until the students spurred to dispose their copy for it seems to be useless. Moreover, TEACHERS AT RISK are sometimes the ones who are teaching inappropriate knowledge to students. This is knotty to obviate that there are really mediocre teachers. There are teachers who cannot even speak the medium of instruction straightly and who cannot give relevant example on the topic they are discussing; in short, unreliable teachers. If these are so? What then is the learning of the students? Does it have a justice for the parents’ exertion of effort just to send their children to school? Students don’t have to rely their teacher all the time, they also have to take their part as students, do a research and if possible, do not stop prosecuting a query about things where you are in doubts. (Teachers are not expected to be perfect anyway.) TEACHERS AT RISK have to overhaul these risky personalities. They have to bear in mind that teachers are the fountains of knowledge, thus; they have to be reliable because students would look forward to their teaching. Whatever be their inputs will also be brought by the students as they mature and as they go over into the real life soon…, so if the input is flawed, the students will be applying it and will possibly drives them to failure. So, TEACHERS WHO ARE AT RISK, wake up. Be aware of what real education is. Always abide that education must make a straight cut ditch of a free meandering brook. So, straightening one’s self is de rigueur, for how can you shape the totality of your students if you yourself are not well-shaped. Prove that you are not at risk, always be prepared with your subject matter, have an advance study of your lesson before presenting it to the class and do not enact learning if you are not so sure about the matter. Be responsible and always stick to the Teacher’s Preamble. #TAKEtimeTOrealizeTEACHER
