Party politics regardless of name or label tends to consolidate power. The republican party has the system in place to have precinct level voices moved UPWARDS into the political policy vehicle through 83 counties and multiple townships throughout the Wolverine State. We in the republican party have the representative system. we have the platform. Its our job to work to uphold it. There should be no aversion to the national party platform, in fact, we have droves of people yearning for those bold definitions, those bold colors that Reagan expounded. Now more than ever we should be defining and holding the republican party solidly accountable to true conservatism. It has never been strictly republican party wins most of us are after, it is individual liberty, free markets, lower taxes, less onerous laws, constitutional adherence, moral, and fiscal representation we fight for. God , Family, Country. Party politics falls under Country. Those that engage in party politics should be concerned with upholding and protecting the values that made this Country great through God and Family. The republican party is merely an established vehicle to work within to achieve those goals.
