Pastor Delbert Rice is the last awardee of the 2014 Ateneo de Manila University Awards. He loved with a love more than love. His love was boundless, exceptional, and extraordinary. He was selfless. He cared for others more than principles. He left big shoes to fill - to walk with faith, to serve others. These are words of her daughter, not accurately and completely recorded by this friend of his who loved him too and saw his greatness up close and personal. Delbert Rice was all these and definitely more.
