Pastor Phils insight of the day--Proverbs 9:13--The woman named Folly is brash. She is ignorant and doesnt know it. This whole section on folly fascinates me. Folly is personified as a person. Its as if Folly follows us around during our day. She (sorry, ladies) calls out to us consistently trying to get our eyes off the truth. She tells us lies (like vs. 17) and attempts us to get us to veer off the path were on and come her way. Folly makes things looks really appealing. BUT, vs. 18 reminds us that her way is the way of death (death of integrity, character, etc.). Bottom line: Folly follows us around but we dont have to follow her!! #CRDigDeep
