Patience is having to endure long electricity cuts: "On 5 September, the Palestinian Energy Authority (PENRA) warned that the Gaza Power Plant (GPP) will be forced to shut down completely in three days due to lack of fuel. If the GPP shuts down, the overall power supply deficit will result in power outages of up to 12 to 16 hours a day, up from the current 8 to 12 hours." (UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance to the occupied Palestinian territory) This has huge knock on effects for the people of Gaza including the overflowing of a sewage pump station in Jabaliya. Interpal supplies generators to mosques, hospitals, schools and universities to combat the frequent electricity cuts. Donations are vital to keep this important work going so we appeal to you to reach out to our Palestinian brothers and sisters with open hands. Please call us on 0208 961 9993 - thank you!
