Patrice Leconte, goodwill ambassador of PSE: He visits us and filmed a short documentary! We are honored to have Patrice Leconte, famous director, as an official sponsor goodwill ambassador. More than that he is a true friend, donor and supporter of PSE. Active in the association for 10 years, he fell under the spell of its founders, Marie-France and Christian Pallières while filming in Cambodia. Today he told us: What touches me and affects me it is these children who are living in intolerable conditions and what moves me is the story of this man and this woman. Today he is in our center in Phnom Penh to shoot a short film presenting the history of our organization with all the latest news, new programs ... and that with our film school. For each visit, he spends time with our film students to provide technical and know-how. About the film school he adds: The technicians are very knowledgeable but the Cambodian cinema is struggling to be reborn and foreign productions should be closer to the school to use their skills More information soon! Nous sommes honorés d’avoir Patrice Leconte, réalisateur reconnu, comme parrain officiel de Pour un Sourire d’Enfant. Plus qu’un parrain c’est un véritable ami, donateur et supporter de PSE. Actif pour l’association depuis 10 ans, il est tombé sous le charme de ses fondateurs, Marie-France et Christian des Pallières lors d’un tournage au Cambodge. Aujourd’hui il nous confie : « Ce qui me touche et me bouleverse ce sont ces enfants qui vivent dans des conditions intolérables et ce qui m’émeut c’est l’histoire de cet homme et de cette femme. » Aujourd’hui il revient au centre PSE à Phnom Penh pour tourner un court métrage présentant l’histoire de notre organisation avec toutes les dernières actualités, les nouveaux programmes….et cela avec notre école de cinéma. Pour chacune de ses visites, il consacre du temps avec les étudiants en cinéma pour leur apporter technique et savoir-faire. A propos de l’école de cinéma il ajoute : « Les techniciens sont très compétents mais le cinéma cambodgien a du mal à renaitre et les productions étrangères devraient se rapprocher de cette école pour utiliser leurs compétences » Plus d’informations très vite !
