Patricia Ferris Kaley Mary Gauthierf anyone is looking for an older dog I know of a Golden Retriever that needs a home. he is 5 yrs old he weighs 116lbs, he is not fat, just huge. He has lead a very active life, but his mom has found a job down in the city and cannot take him. He has an issue with his thyroid, but with medication it has been fine for 2 years. I spoke with the vet and she said that this isnt a big deal, and the medication is not expensive. actually his mom said she would continue to pay for it, to make sure he gets it. the only drawback is that he is not other dog friendly. He is dominant, although he does live with a yorkie and seems to do fine. I was going to take him, but felt that my shepherd and he probably wouldnt be a good mix. Mom leaves in two weeks, and really needs a home for him. if interested let me know and Ill get you her information. she lives in lake George, but Im sure if someone up North was interested it could be worked out. 8 minutes ago · Like
