Paul,Buddy & I are in Bakersfield CA on our way to TN for the next job. The CA visit~ Arrived Sat mid afternoon (3 flights from TN, the last in a 20 seat plane...impersonating a roller coaster.) Drove to Avila Beach to see a sailboat on the shore. It must have come loose from the mooring in the weather. It was beautiful there even though it was overcast. We spent the rest of the day doing chores. Sunday I organized & packed... Lots to work through. Monday we loaded the car & our Amazon order arrived in time to check out. Paul was contacted about work, so we have to head for TN. We drove to Mountain View, picked up our son from his new job, then went to eat. Dropped son off at his place & went to our motel. The next morning we picked Ezekiel up again & he took us out to Crepe Vine. YUM! So our visits with him were short, but good. We then went to REI to exchange an item & were on our way. Were spending the night in Bakersfield & plan to leave out bright and early... Continuing the trip to TN!
