We are currently building our team and are looking for an experienced and passionate Payroll Clerk responsible for our new art’otel amsterdam and our existing Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam hotel. Provision of internal and external information, regarding: * conditions of employment, * retirement, insurances, * control of deadlines regarding employment or termination of employment, * keep track of documentation (administrative) Staff administration,regarding: * employment or termination of employment, * monitoring and succession of illness and recovery reports, * identifying trends in default of individuals or departments, * cleaning up the archive * dealing with ad-hoc reporting requests. Periodic payroll administration, regarding: * collecting and processing of attendance-, overwork-, vacation-, and illness data, * making inquiries and correcting deficiencies, * applications of rules regarding fees and deductions, creating mutation statements and payment proposals, * approving of proposals and explaining implemented corrections, preparing journal entries related to salaries, deductions etc. General: * actively engaging in your own personal development to benefit the business and improving your personal skills, * coordinating and evaluating the departments performance, * follows all applicable laws, especially in accounting policies, procedures and guidelines, * continuously seeks to endeavour and improve the departments efficient operation and knowledge of own job function, * assists colleagues to perform similar or related jobs when necessary, * attends meetings and trainings required by the Financial Controller. Guest service: * Ensuring that guests receive the levels of service expected of PPHE Hotel Group by creating an environment where everyone in the team is focused on connecting with our guests. * To anticipate on guests needs wherever possible, and to take action to enhance guest satisfaction Health and Safety: * To exercise care, attention and caution in dealing with guests, colleagues and hotel property * To attend all statutory fire, health and safety training sessions to remain fully up to date with rules concerning fire and health & safety * To have full knowledge of your departments risk assessments, ensuring that all teammembers are fully aware of these risks Interested?
