People change but society has to accept that change? Dear Conflicting Principles: My girlfriend and i had some problems before and honestly i did the wrongs but i made them rite. Weve known each other for two years and couple months, we have been together for thirteen months though. No one really knew we were seeing each other until we started being out in public three months ago. Her friends said it was funny that shes older than me and her family said the same. I told her about the girls i had dealings with before we were together, the places i hang out which is like almost every where. A lot of people knows me she says when we go out and most of them are guys who liked her or asked for her number and she never took them on. She said she also realized the large amount of female friends i have and the type of women the are but i told her not to worry. When ever we go to the strip and we pass through a crowd i recall her saying that the same fellas who i hail out to when i turn my head they either blow her kisses or ask if im her man and other stuff. One day she went to the mall and a guy asked her if im her man and she said yes, then he asked if she knows i have a child with a certain lady. He said the child was a year by now and his friend heard it from her brother who knows me. She said what had her in shock was the fact he called my real name and my nickname, plus he knew where i used to work and where im working rite now. Now my girl asked for some time alone and said these are too many events happening and that im stressing her out. I resolve the situation and of course he was lying but she said she still need some time adjust because of the constant reports about my lifestyle. She said my past is what has her thinking because it seems its still my present somehow. Why is my past so effective in the present? Why do people have such jealously over others? Can i ever get peace without my past coming into play?
