People who plan out the exact experience they are going to have at a convention really bug me. I understand wanting to make sure you hit all the panels you want to go to and the gatherings you want to be apart of... But why not also plan to have the unexpected happen? Maybe that Panel you were so hyped to see, turns out to be REALLY BORING. You might see a friend you thought you wouldnt. Maybe they closed the Exhibition Hall an hour early (God forbid). Or hey, maybe youre hungry and theres that rare food truck that youve been meaning to eat at since Hell knows when and you saw it right next to that gathering and you have to decide whether to wait in line and miss some of the fun or to take a chance that it will still be there when you get back. All Im saying is, leave room for things not to go the way you want or planned. Even if the turn of events make you feel crappy, youll be happier in the long run if you dont micromanage. :)
