Per Carmine Leo: And how many of those mass monocropping fools know that the only effective way to desalinate soil is to convert to animal-integrated permaculture food forests and mulch with enough depth to keep sufficient moisture in the soil to allow the spread of mycelial networks that make those salts inert and thus irrelevant? I bet none at all. Yeah. Mycelial networks. I knew that. Actually, I didnt, but the question of how biological cycles handle salinity has been hovering in my mind for awhile, so thanks, Carmine. Would love to know more, and do more.
