Perfect fall breakfast, afternoon snack, or anytime hunger strikes! Added bonus: anti-inflammatory properties of ginger and cinnamon:) Raw Apple Chia Crisp: 2 crisp apples, cored and chopped 1/4 cup orange juice 1/2 cup pecan pieces 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts 1/4 cup dried raisins or goldenberries 1/4 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon Optional: sprinkle of unsweetened dried coconut Pulse the last 5 ingredients in food processor until just combined. Toss the apples with the orange juice and top with the crisp and coconut. Cooked Version: Put apples in a dish and toss with juice. Spoon crisp mixture on top. Warm up in oven or dehydrator and serve!
