Perplexed ~ A couple of days ago, I picked up my business mail at the Post Office…. received a U.S. Postal box, marked priority mail. Box came from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Postage was $12.35. While in my car, I opened the box. To my surprise, my purple snow gloves, a super nice pair of black gloves given to me years ago by my sister Sarah, a luggage tag with my business card affixed to it and a blue day timer with school pictures of the some of the cousins, a ever so sweet letter written to my Mother that was tucked inside the month of May, and a rosary stuck inside one of the pockets …..that belonged to my sister Ruth May, who was retarded and passed away from breast cancer……..was all nicely wrapped in white tissue paper. No note, just the priceless stuff. When did I loose these items? What were they doing in Michigan? Did the stuff fall out of a suitcase on one of my travels? Did I leave it in a suitcase or plastic box during one of my “spring cleanings” donations to our local thrift store, Woman Haven/Salvation Army? If you are wondering what my reaction was when I saw the priceless treasures that I am holding on to, to keep my two sisters close? To say it lightly, I closed my eyes, leaned up cried. My life lesson that I want to share with you, “What goes around, comes around!” I try really hard to be a giving person….from the heart, with no strings attached. Is this astounding? Thank you, mystery Good Samaritan!
