Personally, I am not satisfied with a 21% voter turnout in the City of Victoria so far today. It might be better than other years, but why cant we get a majority of the voting public to exercise their democratic rights? Civic elections are ones where we can actually talk to our candidates, and make a difference! So my younger friends especially (because they are less likely to do it) go out there and colour in some ovals. You dont have to fill your ballot out completely, but do make your mark where you feel you can. This is not rocket science! Please share this if you agree.
