Pet peeve for today. Why do businesses insist on communicating by phone and not by email? On the phone there is lots of room for miscommunication and also you may be distracted at the moment. Email leaves evidence of what has been agreed and you can read it when you can actually concentrate - not when your mobile rings when you are in the toilet or having a funeral. Recorded messages on the phone saying please email me or leave a message seem to make no difference.
