Phil 4:6-7 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer - TopicsExpress

Phil 4:6-7 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; NKJV This is a direct command from God, he says be anxious for nothing. First of all, God cannot tell you something to do which you cannot do and which he does not have control over. The word of God is meant to be obeyed in faith if we must see results. Know that anxiety produces doubt and doubt leads to unbelief and unbelief is sin and sin brings death. Paul was telling the Philippines not to worry about their needs but rather to tell them to God who loves them and is able and willing to give to them. That was what peter meant when he said casting all your cares upon him for he cares for you. He does not need you to care with him but to commit everything in his hands. Jesus said "until now you have ask me nothing but what so ever you shall ask the father in my name he will give it to you, ask that your joy will be full". God wants your joy that is why he said ask anything for he is able to do much morethan you can imagin. So this is not the time to be walking with anxiety but a time to ask and receive in faith for if God can sacrifice Jesus for you without you asking and when you were not even his own, how much more now that you are his, will he not do much more fore you? Child of God ask and receive in Jesus name AMEN.
