Phil, the head of physical therapy, and the nursing head and I met today. The only way to get Mama the nutrition she needs is to insert a feeding tube. There is no guarantee that would provide what she needs. She is simply not eating and drinking very little. We left the decision if she wanted the feeding tube installed or not. She said NO. It was her decision as it should be. We now await whether she can pickup her nutritional needs. There is nothing else that we can do but pray.
