Physicists have long struggled to find a way to unify quantum mechanics and gravity. Most scientists believe there is a gravity particle called a graviton. Now two physicists have proposed that it might be possible to establish the quantisation of gravity by measuring the polarisation of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB).
