Picanto, Cash Award Excite Ganaru -Resumes Training For Sharks Clash By Bibian Onwugbolu Kano Pillars Technical Adviser Mohammed Baba Usman (Ganaru) has expressed joy over the Picanto car and cash award given to him and all the member of the team for their wonderful performance during the 2011/12 football season. Usman told SportsDay that he is very happy to be recognised by the Kano State government despite their early knock-out in the CAF Competition. “I am very happy with the state government and also with the administrators of my club, I really don’t know what to say than a big thank you to those who made it happen, Allah will continue to bless them,” he said. Ganaru further disclosed that he will be resuming active training session with his team today in preparation of the week 27 Glo Premier League Match against Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt billed for Kano on Sunday. “I will be joining my boys for a shake up this morning as my doctor advised while major two aside in the evening against their weekend league encounter, at least I thank God I am back on my feet again. “Most of the key players who were involved in the accident are fully recovered and have also resumed training too, some have played matches while three others just started this Monday and likely to play match on Sunday by the grace of God,” he added. Speaking on the team performance so far, Usman confirmed that the players are focused to determine to win the league back to back again. “We are focused though we are in the 2nd position on the league table but we also still have one outstanding match at home against Akwa United FC and by the time we play that we will be topping the league chart. “We will continue putting our best in our league matches now we are out of Federation Cup, we will concentrate to make sure we win the league this season again to return to CAF competition and this time we will make sure we succeed,” Ganaru assured.
