Pillar of Sports Hails Kogi State Government on Sports Development. ...Charges New Board Members To Work As A Team. The Pillar of Sports in Nigeria and President of the Karate Federation of Nigeria, KFN, Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike has commended the Kogi State Government on its part to develop sports in the area. Chief Ejidike who stated this at the inauguration of the new board members into various Sporting Associations at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja, appreciated the effort of the Kogi State Government for bringing together Sports developers, enthusiasts, philanthropists, sports lovers, sports administrators, ex-sports men and women and highly influential individuals to compliment the aim of the government in developing and repositioning sports in the state. While congratulating the new members, he charged them to make good use of the opportunity to serve and contribute to the development of sports in the state just as he employed them to meet regularly and work as a team for efficiency and productivity. Chief Ejidike who has just been inaugurated as the new chairman of Karate Association in Kogi state said this is a welcome development for sports to grow in the state, the government has done enough to give enabling environment for sports stakeholders, and we have to compliment that by giving our best to make Kogi a force to reckon with in sports Ejidike begins. I want us to cooperate, understand and be totally ready in assisting to carrying out all the activities of each associations, as we all know that the National Sports Festival in Calabar is around the corner and its our synergy that can give the state a better and remarkable outing at the event, he concluded. Twenty-one board member were inaugurated into various sports associations.
