Pillgwenlly ward Councillors surgeries for November Omar Ali / Ibrahim Hayat Ward surgery: Just a quick reminder: Tuesday 4th November – ward surgery at Pill Mill, Courtybella terrace. 10:30am – 12:30pm. If you have any issues please do try & attend. We will try & have officers present from the council if possible. The one after that is the first Tuesday of December: Always the same venue/ same times. The first Tuesday of each month. other than August. Pride in Pill – clean up Monday 27th Oct: I would like to extend my thanks to all the partners & agencies that supported us - the community of Pill on the clean up Monday. Most importantly I would like to thank the residents who have refused to be beaten by the ‘environmental hooligans’ who hate Pill & its community. I am convinced we can beat these people. They don’t realise how special Pill is to us! The next stage now, working with officers of Newport City Council, keeps Wales Tidy & the housing providers will be to prosecute these people who are illegally dumping their rubbish in Pill. So please, no matter how small the information; if you do see any illegal dumping of waste/ fly-tipping please report to us confidentially and we will take it to the appropriate people.
