Please Help Apollo group is 12 months old this month, we started as a fund raising group to help raise funds for Apollos medical bills, we then worked with GAR to get Apollo to the UK, he arrived in September 2013. We then continued to raise funds for Karditsa Animal shelter sending thousands of pounds last year to help the dogs in need. We helped to build a new food storage shelter and filled it will food, paid off debts with vets. We made an Apollo Christmas calendar which I am sure will be a success again this year and sales will increase, 50% of the proceeds will go to Karditsa. We have had competitions, auctions, raffles, sold pictures, jewellery and much more to keep raising funds for dogs in need. This group was formed to help home Cyprus Pointers and it will soon have a website as well. https://facebook/groups/213597912155801/?ref=ts&fref=ts At the end of last year we started to help rehome dogs in Cyprus, we have homed almost 50 dogs in 6 months and helped many others with donations and medical bills, all under the umbrella of Apollos Angels. I just want to say a huge thank you to you all for continuing to support the group and not letting is fizzle out, a special thank you to Vesna Jones who drove Apollo all the way from Greece and fostered then adopted him, sadly she is no longer with us having passed away last month. Janice Mcnaughton who is the quiet one working behind the scenes sending out forms and booking home checks and much more. To all those that foster for us , Charlotte Barnes has had 3 dogs for us now and I am sure another in the not to distant future, thank you to all our fosters. Pat Moore the crate lady and the carer and sharer Tania Long who has been with us from the start and created our logo for us and always donates items for our auctions, All those that support with monthly virtual adoption donations a huge thank you for continuing to do so. So many to thank I cant name them all but you know who you are in Cyprus, the UK and in Greece. Thank you for donating and buying items and raffle tickets and entering our competitions.
