Please friends, can you spare two minutes to read the following announcement. Important news from Fat Olive Ormskirk. I wanted to write to our loyal members to address the recent news about the closure and demolition of Fat Olive Ormskirk. It is true that our Landlord, McComb Property Company Limited, has applied for planning permission to demolish the restaurant to build a four storey block of student flats. However planning permission has not yet been granted and the required six month notice period has still not yet been served to us. Both myself and my husband Matt were as shocked to receive this news as a lot of our customers will be. We, as the business owners inside the premises will have no say in the destruction of our family business that has taken 6 years to build in this wonderful town. We are utterly heartbroken at this turn of events both for our livelihoods and our excellent staff members. We would like to assure our customers that until we are forced to close the doors we will be serving our delicious food and offering excellent value for all whom wish to visit us. We are also fully open as usual over the festive period and absolutely no future bookings are jeopardised.
