Please join the annual Light the Night walk at sunset Wednesday, 16 October at the Gooseponds Mackay. Registrations are now open at lightthenight.org.au so gather your friends, family and workmates and form a team for this free community event, supporting blood cancer patients. You can help create a beautiful sea of lights by lighting your own coloured lantern and taking a leisurely walk with patients, their families and supporters carrying special coloured lanterns white for blood cancer patients and survivors, blue for supporters, and gold for those remembering a loved one lost. A free lantern will be provided to those who register by 5.00 pm October 15 otherwise you can buy them on site for $5 each.
