Please note: We are changing the time of our Christmas Eve - TopicsExpress

Please note: We are changing the time of our Christmas Eve Worship this year to 7 pm. The Remembrance Thursday Service is postponed to a later date. Our handheld microphone used during Joys and Concerns enables those with hearing assisted devices to follow along. From Jim Moriarty: This is the season to be Joyful! I hope the music of the season will help in the story and sequence of events leading up to and including the birth of Jesus. The choir is scheduled to sing throughout the Advent Season including our Lessons in Carols on Christmas Eve! The Furman Trio is scheduled again this year for our 7PM Christmas Eve Service. We are hoping the earlier service time will be the best time for families and those who don’t like to venture out late into the evening. This coming Sunday afternoon is The Community Children’s Chorus Concert at our church beginning at 3pm under the leadership of Patricia Moriarty. You have to smile when listening to these children! On December 19, The Messiah is performed by the Danbury Concert Chorus at our church beginning at 7pm. There will be five members of our choir will be performing along with an additional 75 voices! It is a wonderful musical event supported by a fifteen-piece orchestra including harpsichord, and tympani. It is free and usually packed. Peace and Holiday Joy through music, Jim Pat Moriarty and her Children’s Community Chorus will be performing their Winter Concert this Sunday, 3 pm in the Sanctuary. Come and Enjoy this joyous event. All Welcome. No Charge. Our December Fellowship Luncheon will be on Tuesday, December 9 at 12:30 PM in the Parlor. Please bring a dish to share and share the holidays with friends and good food! Stewardship - Our stewardship campaign is doing the best it has done in 4 years. To-date, we have received 31 pledges totaling over $50,000. These results are the largest total amount since 2011. We anticipate that we will still receive an additional 5-10 pledges. If you have not turned in your pledge card, please do so as soon as it is convenient. We would like to hear from all of you.
