Please pray for our daughter Elizabeth. After almost two years of slight strokelike episodes, which brought on nausea and a sense of impending doom, as well as some migraines and temporary memory loss, she had a seizure, which brought about the realization that a serious investigation was necessary. After a trip to the ER, two doctor visits, an EEG, blood tests, and an MRI, the verdict is in. She has a cyst in the arachnoid membrane of the brain, which, as it has grown, is no pressing on the brain and producing these symptoms. She will see the brain surgeon on Apr. 27, at which time the different options will be presented to her for her decision. One thing is for sure, she will have to have the pressure relieved, preferably by removing the cyst. What I am telling you is serious, but Lizzie is extremely relieved because now she knows what the cause is, and there is an end in sight. She has demonstrated a firm trust in Gods Sovereignty, which has both encouraged us and put us to shame.
