Please say a prayer for one of our camp cheerleaders today who freaked out in mid skill on trampoline, fell and tried to catch herself with her arm breaking the top bone in her elbow and severely dislocating the bottom. When she fell it did not break the skin so that makes it harder to tell. I know this sport is tough and that these circumstances arise, but in the ten years Ive coached and the seven Ive owned my own gym I havent had to experience one athlete break one bone. It was scary, sad and my heart breaks for this athlete as she has a long recovery this summer. Its times like these I am thankful for the drooling yearly Care & Prevention we take so we as coaches can be confident and fast acting for the athlete! She has left the ER and is in Tulsa for surgery. Please keep her and her family in your prayers for a safe surgery and speedy recovery. Thank you Rachel Burden for the gorgeous arrangement!
