Please see our pics of the farm in its developing stages. We raised money for posts which just arrived, but we still need more. We need to ensure the safety of the dogs by having smaller groups which means more partitions. For safety they have to be steel posts. Besides the outdoor area the dogs have access at all times to the barns where they have constant food water and warmth. I feel really proud that about what we have accomplished in the last year. There are around 250 dogs in the farm, many from Ecosal and 50 in other fosters. We have been able to help some other shelters too. Unfortunately for now we have reached a sad point where we cant keeping adding dogs to the farm. Although there is space there needs to be more sponsors, partitions and homes. We really need homes for the ones we do have so we dont let them down. Also we dont have half of the dogs sponsored. We did manage to rescue ten pups from Bacau ps today where they have recently killed hundreds. I really wish we could help the next hundred in the firing line, but I suppose we took ten off that number today, but it fills me with sadness knowing the fate of the other 90. When this all started I hoped it would be one United place where groups and individuals could work together to do big things. I feel in many respects this has been achieved, but there is still a way to go. Our success is down to the wonderful team of volunteers, who also include our transporters, rescuers, farm management, Help labus, brilliant clinics and our supporters who without them we would be nothing.
