This sign was outside my parents house, Basically its a sign to steal expensive dogs or to use it for bait in dog fights etc. Spoke to the council the gas works and virgin and basically they told us they send letters out if any work going to be happening in your area and to warn you certain signs will be down. Spoke to police and apparently gypsies do it as to steal dogs or if its a letter V it means vulnerable woman. If its a W wealthy family.
