Police Blotter 7/14/14 - 7/15/14 Patrols, Twin District Fire Department and Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to a hit & run motor vehicle accident with injuries on Transit Road. A 26 year old male turned himself in on a Village of Lancaster Court warrant. The subject was arraigned in Village Court. He also had an outstanding warrant out of Niagara County. Patrols transported the subject to the Erie County Holding Center. Officers responded to 4 alarm calls. Patrol checked out a suspicious male found near the Lancaster High School field house overnight. Lancaster dispatchers handled 13 E.M.S. requests. Officers conducted premise checks at Lancaster Airport, Town parks, the Youth Bureau and businesses along Walden Avenue overnight. Community policing - the 2 school resource officers instructed at the Lancaster Police Junior Police Academy at Lancaster Middle School. A patrol reported seeing a male dressed all in black running from Richmond Avenue onto Second Avenue overnight. Patrols checked the area extensively, but were unable to locate the male.
