Police exist to protect citizens. All too many departments have forgotten this and are motivated by the monetary rewards of drug seizures which then tend to be spent on military grade equipment used to intimidate and threaten the very people that they should be protecting. Sadly, behavior like this has become more and more common and its a slap in the face to those good men and women with badges who are out there doing their jobs protecting us. I love my country but God save us from our government.
