Police terminated two pursuits in the Elizabeth LSA last night due to the dangerous behaviour of the offenders. At 12.20am, a person was seen driving at high speed on Stebonheath Road, Davoren Park. Police signalled for the driver to stop, but they took off, travelling onto Edinburgh Road and then Heaslip Road. Police terminated the pursuit due to the driving behaviour of the offender. At 1.51am, Police on Waterloo Corner Road, saw a car travelling on Bolivar Road. They followed the car and signalled for the male driver to stop. The man took off at speed ignoring the Police patrol. The driver travelled through a park in Martie St, Paralowie, and at one point while reversing, narrowly missed the police vehicle. The car was then pursued in the Parafield Gardens area, before being dumped on Caulfield Crescent. The driver of the vehicle left the area on foot and police were unable to locate him. Police are making enquiries regarding the ownership of the vehicle. The two pursuits are not linked, and police are appealing to the public to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at https://sa.crimestoppers.au if you saw anything that may assist in the investigation.
