Polish Cooking Class on Sunday, October 20th featured to native Poles who helped make our afternoon not only authentic but fun! We began with Szarlotka (Apple Pie Cocktails) made with real Polish vodka (find the recipe for this classic Polish cocktail below) and Polish fresh mushroom soup. We were treated to Polish beef tartare, the most tender and delish pierogies (two fillings: potato and cheese and mushroom and sauerkraut), Polish creamed spinach and Polish apple cake. Plenty of wine was poured, bellies were filled and laughter abounded until late in the evening.
