Polish Stuffed Cabbage 1. Tomatoe sauce /lg can 2. Savoy cabbage or regular green cabbage /2 heads leaving the cabbage whole I drop into boiling water to decore and separate whole leaves 3. cooking string if you prefer 4. 3 lbs Ground chuck 5. 1 Head of garlic fresh /minced fine 6. 2 Large onions /minced fine 7. 2 Cups rice uncooked 8 & 9 Salt and Pepper to taste 10. Mix all ingredients well in a roomy bowl 11. Then stuff each leaf with a nice amount of mixture fold top of leaf over the meat fold in the sides and roll. 12. I use sting to tie mine. 13. I stack them 2 rows high in a large pot & 14. fill 1/2 way with tomato sauce, salt, pepper ( I like onion & garlic powder in mine as well as thyme to my taste 15. I cook them slowly for about 2 hours on a low/med simmer stirring easily not to allow the to stick to bottom of pot Enjoy bon apetit :)
