Pope ran away with the Top Male athlete award after he won three gold medals and one silver while Bascombe took the Top Girl trophy with two gold medals and one silver. Pope landed the boys under 11 long jump with a leap of 4.31m and led a Cougars sweep of the top four places as Terron Celestine (4.20), Sidian Holder (3.76) and Jacob St. Hillaire (3.66) followed the champion home. Hope also secured 300m in 47.87 seconds, ball throw (42.17m) and was denied a fourth gold in the 100m when Celestine took a narrow victory in 14.35 with Pope having to settle for second (14.37). The star athlete collected 38 points for his efforts to top the standings and edge Daniel Hernandez (D’Abadie Progressive) who ended on 37 points. Hernandez won the boys under 15 400m (53.20), second in the 100m (12.17), 800m (2:03.32) and third in the shot put (10.85).
