Portrait of Alfred, using a beta version, iColorama, only. This is mostly the first Brush>PAINT category. I started with a very low-resolution image, and just painted the planes of color, as I wanted them. This took a while. I varied stroke opacity, limits, and size, as in Teresitas Brush video. I used the color picker, and adjusted coolness and warmth. My stroke opacity is set to between .17 and .30. The erase and undo features are two of my favorite tools. I tend to erase at 1.0, unless I want the erasure to be smeary. Then, I used the BOUND brushes to make my edges juicier. (Source image will be posted, below.) Later I enhanced with EQ, HIGH 2, and HUE, painted back in, some more, blended the image I had made, with itself, masked, added texture, blended in another texture I image that I had previously made in iColorama, enhanced the color a little more, etc. This is a way of direct painting which I would have done, in the past, with Procreate. I am pleased to be able to keep my mind in the flow of iColorama.
