Scientific Research Corporation (SRC), San Diego, CA, Senior System Engineer (Rqn#: ISS-5733) POSITION SUMMARY This Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for: The development of architecture for the Maritime Tactical Command & Control (MTC2) program. • Construction of DoDAF models supporting program milestones and acquisition processes including JCIDS • Collaborating across team roles to gather knowledge and artifacts into holistic, traceable architecture • Understanding stakeholder and leadership concerns and reflecting these in the architecture • Interacting with architects and technical staff of related programs to ensure architectural fit of MTC2 within the overall Navy C4ISR ecosystem • Ensure requirements traceability and verifiability with architectural products • Structure the architecture to support agile development • 4 years experience evaluating, analyzing, integrating, implementing, and testing some, or all, of the following C4I systems: AN/USQ-119, 153, 172, or similar Navy computer hardware systems; COMPOSE 3.0, GCCS-M 3X, 4.0.1.x, 4.0.2.x, 4.0.3.x; Oracle and NetApp storage arrays and systems; Rack-mount server technologies and rack enclosures and supporting equipment; COMPOSE 4.0 baseline; GCCS-M 4.1 Group Level GCCS-M 4.1. Unit Level and 4.1 Force Level baselines MINIMUM SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: • BS Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field • Solid understanding of software and enterprise architecture • Experience with data modeling • Strong abstraction and problem decomposition skills • Pragmatic understanding of DoDAF preferably using UPDM (Unified Profile for DoDAF and MoDAF) • Experience with DoDAF capable modeling tools, especially MagicDraw with UPDM plug-in • Experience with DoD Directive 5000 series; Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System process; and DoD and DON acquisition/procurement processes • Must be capable of attaining a Secret Clearance • Enterprise level...
