Possibly the best article ever written. Sad to think we are paying more to have our resource given away with no real benefits to Labrador or our people. Sure there are a handful of jobs but think if how much better it could/should be!? I am in support of economic development but surely the people adjacent to the project could be benefiting rather than paying more to have it stolen. No, before you accuse of of being anti development or against the island imagine the situation being reversed?? Surely our leaders could have demanded better for us?? I wonder how resources being shipped out compares to local benefits in a financial sense? Not only are we being taken for granted and advantage of but to add salt to the wound our premier says they "own us"!!!
