Posted on behalf of Georgie Winborn Hi ladies The Board of UKUltimate Ltd has been reviewing the role and function of the various sub-committees. It is now the turn of the womens committee. I would like to invite all female players in the UK to give me some feedback as to what you want from the committee that represents your views of Ultimate. In line with UKU objectives, the broad areas of focus are encouraging more women to play the sport at all levels, providing suitable competitions for all levels and supporting the development of elite players. This list is not exhaustive so please feel free to add anything you think is important to support female Ultimate players going forward. The Board would like to have a new group of women elected for the committee by September so please have a think about whether you would like to be involved. It isnt a huge commitment, most work is done via email with one face to face meeting each year. If you have any comments about what you want from the committee or if you are interested in being on it please email me (georgiewinborn@gmail) The more comments and questions the better. This is your chance to have some influence on how womens Ultimate progresses over the next few years so if you have any gripes, grumbles, ideas or positive feedback, now is a great time to let us know.
