Posting a little late in the day today. The Riders have been busy - TopicsExpress

Posting a little late in the day today. The Riders have been busy preparing their bikes for this weekend. They have many going with them so lots of planning has been taking place and hotel rooms booked. Very excited to have those join! On August 6th, we met Tara (pictured below) and shared her story with you. She had fought breast cancer and on the day the riders met her, she learned that cancer was found in the lymph nodes. Her and her husband were heading home the next day where she would begin radiation and chemo treatments. Good News, after treatments, the lymph nodes were found to have NO CANCER! Last week, Mike received an email from Buffalo Specialities, our online store provider that said someone had ordered armbands from our website. We realized our new armbands were not in the store warehouse, only the solid purple ones, so we mailed a handful of the new ones with a note stating I hoped we had met them on Tour 2014 since their address was in Aurora, CO. Mike received a UPS envelope this week with the attached letter and photo. THIS is why we ride. We hope to always be a blessing to someone that is hurting and needs just a little hope. We wear our Rumble shirts, vests, caps, etc whenever we can because it gives us the opportunity to visit with someone we might not otherwise. Gerald and Tara, it was a privilege to meet you. We will share pictures and stories as we ride this weekend. We are honored to be a part of raising awareness and funds for cancer research and spreading hope. Rumble On!
