Posting early tonight..im so tired and hope to get to sleep soon. Things have been so discouraging the last couple of days. Jims vitals havent been bad..blood pressure a little low and needed a unit of blood to get count up but his heart has been holding and kidneys are working. Hes just so weak and tired. Drs say food would probally help his energy but they cant give him any because of his breathing..afraid he will asperate(?). They bronc him almost everyday which isnt the best..but need to clean the gunk out of his lungs. If he was stronger he could cough it up himself..but cant get stronger because ofno food and chest muscle strength. Its a vicious circle I dont know how hes going to get out of. I asked today too talk to a therapyst to see if I can try to do some therapy..just some leg and arm lifts with him. They said that would be good..but getting Jim to do it is another story. He nods his headwhen i ask him if he understands that he needs to move as much as he can but then just sits. Its hard to say if hes too tired to move..if hes nodding but not really understanding what i say or if he just doest want to do it. Hope we can make some sort of progress tomorrow. I
