Prayer Line! Prayer Topic: (Jeremiah 10:23). Most of us can witness that another; or the new school season has just begun in many places, and later in the month others will equally resume. So we want to thank God for protecting our children from every danger during the long holidays which has made it possible that many children and youths were returning back to their schools. We will pray and ask God for wisdom, sound knowledge and better understanding for our children and youths, so to enable them to develop their talents in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Again there is the need to pray and ask God to take control by ordering the steps of our children and youths, because His Word says: O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps (Jeremiah 10:23). You may have your different opinions…, but this prayer is necessary because too many children today are growing from the ungodly homes. And no matter how someone tries to educate his or her children there will always be the peer pressures from these ungodly fellows. Most children have no good training at home, and one can see how disrespectful they can be to their teachers at schools. This ill manner has led to sending most children away from their schools. So while we pray that God should supernaturally intervene, we should always pray that parents should understand that the best they can do for their children is to offer them a very good home training. Regardless of the law that speaks about the "child rights," parents should know that it is better for a child to cry than when parents should be crying. Train up a child with the Spirit of Love and reverence for God, and when the child grows up he will continue to make a difference. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). Nobody is here advocating that parents should abuse their children, but it a shameful thing when a child is continually being singled out as a troubled child in a school. In fact, when a child lacks a good home training, it`s an abuse because by constant rebuking the child at school. The child may drop from school, and the child will end up being a nuisance to the society. Another thing is when parents think that they were obeying the law of the child rights and totally forget to give their children a very good home training. Here is the truth; the same law that tells you that disciplining your children in love is an abuse is the same the law that is going to put your children behind the iron bars when they have become nuisance to the society. And it is left for the parents to pay every legal bill that may incur during the legal process to jail their children, or to take them out from the jails. The emotional cost for the family when their children were not at home but in the prisons is equally too expensive to live with. So having made this short revelations, let`s lift up our children and youths before the Living God who loves them mostly. And begin to ask Him to change our children and make them the better people that He would want them to be in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
