Prayer for Today........ Great and mighty God of the Universe, today we are reminded that you have given us power through the crimson flow form Calvary to emancipate ourselves from ever sin that binds. You, from the fall of Adam have been shining holy light throughout this world darkened and made ugly by increasing evil in the hearts of men and fallen angels. But we thank You Lord that where sin abounds grace much more abounds, for You out of love and mercy have provided a Sacrifice, a way of escape from the second death which is our natural destiny. Thank You for Your word which makes us know that Christ is the Resurrection and the Life, and our Passport out of this world of doom. May we know today that to whom much is given much is required, and that You have given us much through the vast experiences of patriarchs, prophets, apostles, reformers and a host of faithful witnesses before us. May we walk faithfully in in the light of Your word so that others will be led from error to truth of Your salvation and kingdom of glory. Thank you for sins forgiven and the hope of the first resurrection. Help us now to walk until morning breaks eternal, for this is the grace and mercy we desire, and we say thanks on behalf of the Hymn of the Day fraternity; in Jesus’ name. Amen.~R.b. Seivwright
