Preparations are now well underway for Christmas in Buchanhaven 2014. Following two successful meetings with a range of local groups and keen individuals, the Buchanhaven Heritage Centre looks set to bring the true meaning of Christmas alive with the following events already into the final planning phase. On the 29th November, a Christmas Craft Fair will start the season off with a wide range of arts, crafts and performing arts for all to enjoy. The 30th November will see a Christmas Cake and a tree decorating competition take place for all to take part in and enjoy. Once into the final few weeks and on the 13 December a Christmas Evening will take place at the Centre, with a wide range of favourite Carols and well known Christmas Songs for all to enjoy and take part in. During that week some surprise visits will take place to identified locations across the town which will hopefully bring the Christmas spirit to many who may miss out otherwise and on the 20th December the Centre will close with their famous Carol Service which this year will be opened in a very special way.
