Preserve The Cash Lake-House Property (Like This Page and Please, Support This Cause ) This is a cause to preserve the land at 200 Caudill Drive, Hendersonville, TN and use it only for a Johnny and June Carter Cash Memorial Park. This is a beautiful property that they called home for some 35 years. Lets make it a memorial park to remember them! For 35 years, Johnny and June Carter Cash called Hendersonville, Tennessee home. Their residence at 200 Caudill Drive, designed by famed architect Braxton Dixon, was a landmark and a source of pride for our community. We, the residents of Hendersonville, stand united in our opposition to the rezoning request filed on behalf of James Gresham to build a rehab center on the site of Johnny Cashs former home. 200 Caudill Drive is located in a residential neighborhood on a residential street and is ill-equipped for a commercial venture of this sort. We do not believe the proposed rezoning to be the highest and best use of this historic property. We call upon the Hendersonville Regional Planning Commission to reject the rezoning request scheduled for a public hearing on September 2, 2014 and for the Board of Mayor and Aldermen to uphold the will of the people by maintaining the current zoning.
