Presidios Lely International Airport (KPRS) New Fuel Station is ACTIVE! The Presidio Municipal Development District (PMDD) has completed another major Airport improvement Project this week. The latest accomplishment is installation of new high speed pumps for Jet -A Fuel and Aviation 100 LL Fuel. Both types of fuel are available at the current price $5.25 per gallon. Extra long hoses and automatic hose reels have been added for the pilots ease in fueling their aircrafts. Lely now offers 24/7 self service credit card pumps, This project was funded by the Presidio MDD and TXDOT Aviation RAMP Funds on a 50/50 match grant, said Brad Newton, PMDD Executive Director. We are now ready for emergency medical fights to save the lives of our citizens. Presidios Lely International Airport can accommodate fuel for business, tourism, DHS border protection for the Big Bend Border Region Chase Snodgrass, Presidio County Airports Manager said, We are ready for all air traffic to fly to Presidio. Pilots can now fill up their aircraft with the fastest pumps in the West. Lely International Airports improvements continue with the installation of a new beacon and tower in the near future.
