Allah is sustainer and to him we should surrender. Referring to arrest spree and police highhandedness, Syed Ali Geelani said that the police created hurdles but today in spite of all obstacles and limitations we once again resumed our noble mission for our people. Police has laid a strict siege around office and the state affaires are run by police, said Syed Ali Geelani. Syed Ali Geelani in his statement while referring to brutal assassination of Faisal Yousuf and Meraj U Din by forces personel at Chattergam, said that their families lost their dear ones and it has created a deep void in their lives. I pay my salute to these families as they have out rightly rejected the compensation offer by forces. I congratulate them for their bravery and commitment and it is highly admirable and encouraging for whole nation. Their demand for impartial inquiry into gruesome killing is based on justice and we second their plea for justifiable inquiry into gruesome killing and whole nation stands with them. I pay my heartfelt tribute to martyrs and i have great regard for their sacrifices and like the way they rejected the forces offer for compensation. Syed Ali Geelani reiterated that we have always rejected the favors and we will never accept any such favor even if they offer us with their blessings. I would have visited the bereaved families to offer my condolence but it is the police and state administration that prevented me from all this as they even barred me from offering the Friday prayers said Syed Ali Geelani and added though our nation was put to test by almighty Allah during recent floods but instead of all this we deeply feel for bereaved families and share their sorrows .Relief is a divinely job, said Syed Ali Geelani and it is has nothing to do with politics instead it a worship for us .What we offer to our flood affected brothers is nothing but simply a gift . we feel that it won’t make any difference and they cant build their houses and nor they can start their business but we feel pain and by helping our brothers it give us a sense of satisfaction .I with all my pleasure and from the core of heart thank those who provided their kind help to help those in need .Syed Ali Geelani once again in his passionate appeal requested that people and asked to come forward with cash and kind so that relief and rehabilitation work is carried onward and people hit by flood are supported .
